With the new season brings a new website. While we’re still under construction, browse thru our different pages; check out our track rules, look thru our gallery for pictures of past winners and current season action, read how you can become a member of the Kansas Dirt Slingers R/C Club and see our club Hall of Famers.

Checkered Flag R/C Raceway will be bringing you action all summer. Not only will we have our normal racing schedule, we’ll also have our Spring Dirt Oval Classic, our Kansas Dirt Oval Championships and our Halloween Havoc.

When you visit Checkered Flag R/C Raceway we work hard to ensure your safety and security and that you have the time of your life.

Preparations are now in the works for the 2nd Annual “HALLOWEEN HAVOC” on October 16th. Last years event was a huge success. This year is looking to be even better. Remember to “RSVP” for yourself and your guests to checkeredflagraceway@yahoo.com. Lunch will be provided as part of each racers entry fee, guest’s lunch cost will be $5.00 per person. We would like to have as accurate of a head count before the event so we can be as prepared as possible. The Cafe will be open as usual for breakfast. We will shut down at 10:30 to prepare for our lunch. We encourage you and your family to arrive in costumes. We also encourage you to decorate your cars. Bring plenty of treats for our young “trick-or-treaters”.

Checkered Flag R/C Raceway will be having open practice on 8/11 from 5pm – 8pm and the next Club Race will be 8/14. On the 14th the track will open at 8am, sign-in closes at 9:30am and racing begins at 10am.

We’ve received a shipment of Street Stock systems which have been tested and ready to go. If your looking to get in the street stock class let us know so we can reserve you one of the new Street Stock systems.

Dirt Slingers are you ready? Are you really ready? The time has come for the Kansas Dirt Oval Championships 2011. Mark your calendar for July 29-31 for this years DODC National Points Series for 2wd Dirt Late Models, Sprint Cars and 4wd Dirt Late Models. Preparations are underway as we prepare for the big event.

Checkered Flag R/C Raceway will open July 29th for practice and pre-registration from 10am – 6pm. Join us to fine tune those cars and get registration out of the way. You’ll still have time for registration on Saturday, July 30th from 8am – 9:30am but remember we’ll begin heat racing at 10am. Sunday, July 31st is the day all dirt slingers wait for as we begin the mains at 9am. Trophies awarded to the top 5 in each class and the Top Qualifier in each class.

An added event to this years KDOC is the Set-up seminar following qualifying on Saturday sponsored by CustomWorks R/C Cars.

Due to illness Checkered Flag R/C Raceway are forced to cancel practice on Thursday and this weekends race. We will try and make the race up later in the season. We hope you all understand.

Our next events for the track will be open practice on July 14th and racing will resume on July 17th.

Checkered Flag R/C Raceway is primed and ready to resume the regular racing schedule on June 26th. Don’t forget the track opens at 8am, sign-in closes at 9:30am and racing begins promptly at 10am.

If your new to R/C racing come spend the day at Checkered Flag R/C Raceway. Admission is free and provides loads of entertainment for everyone. We also have great deals on RC gear sold trackside (including all spec class electronics/bodies).

Checkered Flag R/C Raceway will be having Open Practice June 9th. This will be the last chance to test and tune before the Spring Dirt Oval Classic on June 12th. The track has been totally reworked and will be open from 5pm-8pm.
